Detaillierte Betrachtung der Hauptfiguren in "Romeo und Julia"

Juliet:

First of all, I think she’s 13 and very little, innocent, docile and defy. It seems like she doesn’t want to become an adult, look at the question form her mother about the marriage. It looks like she’s quiet and modest. Moreover she’s longing for him and passionate, for instance after the first Kiss from Romeo.

She has the leading role in the relationship and becomes more independent, look at the balcony scene because she wants the Marriage. She is courageous and fearless especially when killing herself. She’s desperate.

Romeo:

He falls in love very easily. His relationships are superficial, for example the love to Rosaline. But the love with Juliet is profound. His character is immature, hasty and impetuous. His decisions are based on his emotions. He have a hyperbolic language and is overreacting, look at the last Act, when he see Juliet death.

He loses all self-control, take for example the death form Mercutio. At the end when he kills himself, he seems more mature than at the beginning.

Friar Lawrence:

He has an puzzling character over the whole piece. He’s level-headed, he wants to cause peace, he’s clever and dishonest, impulsive and hastily. He acts against his Christian believe for example when hesecretlymarriedRomeoand Juliet or give her the potion. He likes a father figure for Romeo.

She is a garrulous and bawdy person, she’s like a mother figure for Juliet and she wants to bring Romeo and Juliet together looks for the scene where she rushes to Romeo to bring the message from Juliet. She is humorous, sympathetic.

Later she changes her opinion towards Romeo and advices Juliet to marry Paris. She’s no longer a trustworthy Person for Juliet.

Mercutio:

He have an complex character, he is an entertainer, clever and witty but earthy and coarse too. He is imaginative and creativity but it can also seen as feverish and neurotic. He is a good Fried to Romeo and like always a fight for instance with Tybalt ore with another one from the Capulet. He have a dramatically role in the piece.

Why did Romeo and Juliet die?

The odds, why had this love to end up tragically, were the Hostility, the age-old enmity between the houses of Montague and Capulet. Both houses were narrow-minded, selfish, intolerant . they hated each other blindly. They shed blood, and made the right fist.

They lived in a society in which they free Choice of partner did not have. Romeo and Juliet had to die because they are not otherwise able to be together. Maybe it was the only way to reconcile the two houses, the Death of the beloved family Members from different families who are not at peace could live together.
