Englischstunde über Hobbies


L. Good morning boys and girls, good morning Mrs ….!


Please take out your English book, your pencilcase and your pair of scissors.


Song: What shall we do with the drunken sailor?


Warming up: Good morning, boys and girls.

What´s your name?

Are you boy or a girl?

How old are you?

How are you? Ask a friend!

Where do you live?


What is in your schoolbag?

How many pencils are in your pencilcase?

Story - telling

L: This is Jimmy and his room.

His hobby is fishing. (Angelrute)

He likes fish very much.

He draws fish.- gemalte Bilder

He reads many books about fish. - Bücher

And he watches his fish in the tank.- Bild mit Aquarium

He also collects pictures about fish.


His hobby is fishing!


Now listen to the story. It´s storytime!


L: beginnt mit dem 2. Bild + OHP:


Jimmy is in his room. The telephone is ringing.

One afternoon his friend Peter calls.

Rrrrrrr!

J: Hello, here´s Jimmy speaking.

P: Hello, Jimmy. I´m Peter. How are you?

J: Fine, thank you.

P: Jimmy, let´s ride our mountain bikes.

J. Oh no, I can´t. My leg hurts.


Peter has got a new idea.

P: What about tennis?

J. Oh no, I can´t. My arm hurts.


Peter tries again.

P: Well, let´s go swimming.

J: Oh no, I can´t. I feel sick.


Peter doesn´t give up.

P: What´s your hobby?

J: My hobby is fishing!

Peter and Jimmy are at the lake.

Jimmy is very happy. Peter is not. ( Schaut gelangweilt)

P: Do you really like fishing?

J: Shh.


But what´s this?

Jimmy has got a problem with his fishing rod.

J: Help!!


SPLASH!


Jimmy is in the lake now.

Jimmy has got a new hobby.

Jimmy´s new hobby is swimming – with fish!


J: Swimming is fun!

Listen to the CD (51) and look at the pictures.

1.   Fold it like a Hot dog

2.   Fold it like a hamburger.

3.   Fold it like a cupboard, then open it

4.   Fold again the hamburger

5.   Take your pair of scissors and cut it to the middle

6.   Fold the Hot dog again and push it together.

7.   Now you can fold it like a book.
