First if all every of the three spirits left a lasting impression on Scrooge. But for me the greatest influence had the first spirit, the Spirit of Christmas Past. This one could be the biggest influence because just right in the beginning its seems like Scrooge develops forgotten feelings, for example when the ghost brings him to the path which leads to his old home.
It is like Scrooge is getting kind of sentimental. Then he gets excited when he sees what the boy in the old red house is reading.
