Summarize

 

Chapter 1:

The first chapter is about the Camp Green Lake, what is it and where.

It's in Texas, there was a lake about hundred years ago, the largest lake in Texas.

Now it's dry. There are many animals, most of them are dangerous.

 

Chapter 2:

Chapter two is about a boy, his name is Stanley Yelnats, who had two choises, 1. go to jail or 2. go to Camp Green Lake.

 

Chapter 3:

The third chapter is about Stanley, how he drive to Camp Green Lake and that he was overweight in the middle school, that was the reason why the students teased him. He said something about his family.

 

Chapter 4:

Chapter four is about Stanley how he arrived at the Camp. It is dry, barren and desolate. Mr. Sir had check that Stanley wasn't hiding anything. Mr. Sir explain him the daily routine.

 

Chapter 5:

In the fith chapter Stanley meets Mr. Pendanski, he is his counselor.

He seems to be nicer and not so scary looking as Mr. Sir.

Also Stanley meets his group

 

Chapter 6:

In the sixth chapter Stanley tells his new mates the reason why he is here. He explain them that the cops saw him how he stole shoes. nobody believe him.

 

Chapter 7:

Chapter sept is about Stanley, who is dig his first hole. Also his ancestor, Elya Yelnats. Stanley was the last boy outside and finished his hole late andwith problems. Zero, the samllest boy, was the first who finished his hole.

 

Chapter 8:

The eighth chapter deal with the dangerous yellow- spotted- lizards.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Chapter 9:

Chapter nine is about Stanley, who write a letter to his mom. Stanley realize, that the other boys call him Caveman. Also he notices the bad conditions at the Camp.

Chapter 10:

In the tenth  chapter Stanley found something, it's seems to be a fossil. But the Warden was not interested in that.

Chapter 11:

The eleventh chapter deals with Stanley (Caveman) and Xray, they have a discussion, all that what Stanley finds, gets Xray. After that Stanley dig and think about his nickname.

Chapter 12:

In the twelfth chapter, Stanley come back from the holes and see a discussing circle, there tellthe boys about his problems. And Stanley noticed, why Zero is so fast during digging, he like to dig holes, he is motivated.

Summarize

Chapter 13:

The 13th chapter deals with Stanley and Xray. During Stanley dig his hole he found something like a bullet with the letters "KB" he gave it to Xray.

 Chapter 14:

In the 14th chapter, the Warden comes to the holes to see what "Xray" found, she was happy and Xray get the whole day off. She orders Mr. Pedanski to refill all canteens.

Chapter 15:

Chapter 15 is about the Warden, she sent all boys to dig holes, bigger, lager holes and they have to dig faster. The whole time she stand around the holes and inspecting what the boy do.

Chapter 16:

The 16th chapter is about the Warden, she is impatient and will that the boys dig faster but the find nothing. At night Stanley gets a letter from her mother.

Chapter 17:

In the 17th chapter the boy have to dig more and more but didn't find anything. The Warden was angry and hit Armpit.

Chapter 18:

Chapter 18 is about Stanley, who gets stronger, now it's easyer to dig holes. He and his group dig in another part. After the work Stanley write a letter to his mom. Zero watched and tell Stanley, that he can't read and write and asked Stanley to teached him.

Summarize

Chapter 19:

The 19th chapter is about the sunflower seeds from Mr. Sir.

Magent steals the seeds, when Mr. Sir notices that somebody steal the seeds, Magnet throw it into Stanleys hole. Mr. Sir drives Stanley to the Warden and wants that Stanley tell the Story to the Warden.

Chapter 20:

In the 20th chapter Stanley tells the Warden the Story about the sunflower seeds. But she wasn't angry about him and send him to finish his hole.

Chapter 21:

In chapter 21 Stanley goes back to the holes and thinks about his great grandfather and Kate Barlow. When he arrived his hole was finished.

Chapter 22:

Chapter 22 is about Stanley and Zero, they talk about the sneakers and the sunflower seeds, and Zero asked Stanley if he teached him to write and read. They make a compromis that Stanley teached him and Zero helps to dig Stanleys hole.

Chapter 23:

Chapter 23 is about Green Lake and his past. Long ago, there was a woman, Kate Barlow, she won prizes for the best spiced peaches. Also she was a teacher and very pretty .

Chapter 24:

The 24th chapter deals with Stanley and Mr. Sir, he was angry about Stanley. When he comes with the watertruck, he don't reful Stanley's canteen.

Summarize

Chapter 25:

Chapter 25 deals with Sam the onion man, he fixed a lot of things for Kate Barlow and he gets peaches from her. They felt in Love.

Chapter 26:

The 26th chapter is about Trout Walker, who loved Kate but she was not interseted in him. Trout caught Sam and Kate when they have kissed.

He was angry about it and shoot Sam. Now Kate was the "Kate the Kissing Bandit".

Chapter 27:

Chapter 27 is about Stanley and Zero. He helps to dig on Stanleys hole. Later Stanley teaches Zero, he learns how to spell Zero and Zero tells Stanley that Hector Zeroni it's Zeros real name.

Chapter 28:

In chapter 28 Kate Barlow came back to the Green Lake after 20 years of being the Kissing Bandit. Trout Walker found her and tried to rob her of the riches she had stolen in the years of being Kissing Bandit.

Chapter 29:

Chapter 29 deals with Stanley, during he digs his hole he see a storm an thinks about his great grandfather.

Chapter 30:

Chapter 30 is about Zigzag's birthday and Zero, Zigzag gets a extra orange juice. Later Zigzag teased Stanley but Stanley fight back. The others notice the compromis between Stanley and Zero and say that Zero is stupid and can't learn anything, so Zero hits MR. Pedanski with the shovel and runs away.

Summarize

Chapter 31:

In chapter 31 Stanley was angry with him self. Zero didn't come back.

Nobody cares about him say the others but Stanley cares.

Chapter 32:

Chapter 32 deals with the new boy who assigned to group D. His nickname was Twich. During Stanley was digging and the watertruck came he stole it and drove away but he drove into a hole so he had to run.

Chapter 33:

The 33th chapter is about Stanley, he walked between the holes and see a lot of lizards and also a sack with one sunflower seed.

Chapter 34:

Chapter 34 is about Stanley, he found a boat upside down. Inside was Zero.

Chapter 35:

Chapter 35 deals with Zero and Stanley. Zero doesn't look good, he drunk something what was not good for him. But he won't go back to the camp.

Chapter 36:

In chapter 36 they walked to the God's thumb. When they came to cliff they helped each other to climbed. Zero's hands are hurting from holding the shovel.

Summarize

Chapter 37:

Chapter 37 is about Stanley and Zero. They walked to the Mountain. They see weeds and bugs so there is water tought Stanley. Stanley dig holes and search for water.

Chapter 38:

In chapter 38 Zero was so powerless, so Stanley pick him up on his back.

After some time Stanley felt into mud and finde some think, it was a onion. They ate the onion and were a little bit powerfull.

Chapter 39:

Chapter 39 deals with Zero how he dig a waterhole to get water. Later he tell the truth Stanley about the sneakers. That he stolen the shoes.

Chapter 40:

In chapter 40 Stanley and Zero found a lot of onions on the meadow. In the past the onions helped the sick families. And now it helped Stanley and Zero. They ate a lot of onions and selpt.

Chapter 41:

In chapter 41 Stanley digging his hole and doesn't Zero help. Zero told Stanley that he stole the shoes from a homeless shelter. And that he hasn't a family and no house.

Chapter 42:

Chapter 42 is about Stanley and Zero they eat more and more onions they are powerfull and Stanley is happy. Stanley thinks about his life.

Summarize

Chapter 43:

In chapter 43 Zero thinks about his mom and his old home.

Stanley and Zero would go back to the Camp steal food and find the treasure. The have to hind when the get closer to the Camp.

Chapter 44:

Chapter 44 is about Zero and Stanley at the Camp, Zero bring water and something to eat and Stanley dig the hole. After a long time Stanley find a metal box.

Chapter 45:

In chapter 45 Zero dig the hole but a flashlight beam light up Zero. It was Mr. Sir Mr. Pedanski and the Warden. They see the box with lizards around and the Warden tell the others about her past,  that she had the same to do. She had to dig a hole to find the box when she was a child.

Chapter 46:

In the 46th chapter Mr. Sir, Mr. Pendanski and the Warden think about Stanley and Zero. Mr Pedanski would shoot on them but the Warden said no. Mr. Sir said that Stanley is innocent.

Chapter 47:

Chapter 47 deals with two strangers, who come to Camp Green Lake. They try to get Stanley but the Warden said that he can't go beacause he had hallucinations and is delirius.

Chapter 48:

In the 48th chapter Stanley know who are teh man and the woman. It was the Attorney General of Texas and his lawyer. They try to bring Stynley back. But Stanley won't go with out Zero. Squid told him that Zero go.

Summarize

Chapter 49:

In chapter 49 Stanley drive back at home the lawyer told Stanley how she find out that was Stanley innocent.

Chapter 50:

The last chapter is about Stanley. Now he is at home and the Camp Green Lake was closed. now there is a Girl Scout Camp. From the jewels Stanley bought a new hous for his family.
